A forest guard mysteriously died in Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary in Nagaon district.

The deceased has been identified as Konram Das from Goalpara.

He was posted at Lathimari Forest Camp at the time of the incident.

Police and forest officials were on the way to recover the body at the time of writing this report.

The reason for his death hasn't yet come to light.
