In a sensational incident, four girls from Teok under Jorhat district have been recovered from Lumding on Thursday morning. The girls were reportedly missing since yesterday.

The Lumding Police acting on a tip off recovered the girls from a Train at Lumding Junction. They hailed from Tamulisiga area in Teok and were studying at class IX of Tamulisiga High School.

Meanwhile, a team of Bhogamukh police rushed to Lumding for further investigations and to return the girls back to home. Police suspected human trafficking network behind the incident.
