Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi has slammed  Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)  for registering a Suo Moto case against Dr Hiren Gohain and called it unfortunate. The Congress leader said that BJP is a virus, and will engulf every regional party.

BJP has engulfed regional parties of Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh and now Assam, said Gogoi. If BJP stays in power, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)  will destroy the Indian Constitution, added Gogoi.

Gogoi also said, it is not the right time for politics. Gogoi urged everyone to come together to oppose the Citizenship (Amendment ) Bill 2016.

After the Latasil Police  station registered a suo-moto case of Secession against Dr Hiren Gohain, Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) Akhil  Gogoi and Manjeet Mahanta for their recent utterance supporting independence from India, under Sections 120(B), 121, 123 and 124(A) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), there has been a massive uproar against the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP)  government in the state.
