Six Gold bars worth over Rs 50 lakh were seized by Guwahati GRPS at Platform no 2 of Guwahati Railway station on Saturday evening.

Police have arrested Amjad Ali (35) S/O Sk Anowar Ali from Bhattapur in West Bengal in connection with the case.

Later, Railway police handed over the accused to custom department.
