Good newsfor the Assam Government employees and its pensioners as Sarbananda Sonowal-ledgovernment has hiked the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) by 5percent on Tuesday.

"Assamgovernment hiked Dearness Allowance for its employees and Dearness Relief forits pensioners by 5 percent," said a government source on Tuesday evening.

Accordingto reports, the hiked DA for the employees and hiked DR for the pensioners willbe effective from July 1, 2019. With this hike, the State government employeesand pensioners will be entitled to 17 percent DA and DR in all.
