AssamChief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday evening chaired a high-levelmeeting with the officials Assam police at Dispur. They discussed the securityissues following the grenade blast near a shopping mall in Guwahati Wednesdayevening.

Theblast left 11 people with injuries. Assam Director General of Police (DGP) KuladharSaikia and ADGP Mukesh Agarwal were present in the meeting.

Speaking to media after the meeting DGP Saikia said, "We have discussed yesterday's incident. We are conducting operations at different locations in the State to nab the master-mind involve in the incident."

Meanwhile, the Assam Police on Thursday detained a woman identified as Jahnabi Saikia Das and 'self-proclaimed' pro-talk ULFA member Pranamoy Rajguru in connection with the blast in Guwahati.
