Guwahati: Cotton University Students Demand Offline Teaching

Pratidin Bureau

A section of students of Cotton University have demanded offline mode of education instead of online mode on Tuesday. Addressing a press conference, they have demanded offline teaching instead of online.

The students are unhappy with the direction given by the university authorities that one semester each of graduation and post-graduation will be in online mode. The students, while demanding offline education, have cited that online mode of education poses problems for students coming from rural areas.

The students have posed the question for authorities that if other colleges and universities are conducting offline classes then why Cotton University cannot allow it.
