Two cartons of cough syrup and currency worth Rs 2,000 were recovered from an Alto from Nilgiri Path at Beharbari, Guwahati.

The vehicle (with registration number AS 25 F 2698) was also seized by the investigating team.

One person, who has been identified as Ahedur Rahman, has been arrested. As per reports, he was running a business from a rented house in the area.
