A massive fire broke out at a market in Guwahati's Fancy bazar area late Friday.

The blaze erupted at a market in front of Shoppers Point, destroying goods worth lakhs.

Sources say the cause of the blast was due to cylinder blast.

Fire tenders have reached the scene and fire extinguishing operations are underway.
