In a mysterious condition, a maid died after falling from the fourth floor of an apartment in the Beltola area in Guwahati. The incident took place on Tuesday at Biyoja Enclave.

According to reports, she was working with a womanidentified to be Indrani Barpujari, as a full-time main for several months andlived with her. She fell to the ground with a loud thud, hearing which,security guard of the housing society rushed to the spot.

Though the locals suspected it to be a case of suicide,they demanded the police investigate the case from all possible angles.
