In a sensational incident, a man was washed by flash flood waters in Sundarpur area in Guwahati after slipping into the Bharalu river during heavy downpour on Thursday evening.

It maybe mentioned here that heavy downpour in Guwahati inundated all major parts ofthe city bringing life to a standstill.
