In an unfortunate incident, a 4-year-old girl named Parbin Khatun lost her life when the terrace of the building she was living in collapsed at around 4 in the morning today.

The condition of four other members of her family, all of whom were tenants, is critical. They are admitted to GMCH.

The shocking incident took place in the Bhootnath area of Guwahati in the two-storey building owned by one Dr. Dharma Ranjan Das.

Meanwhile, Dr. Das, the owner, has been accused of building the house flimsily using low quality materials.
