A body has been recovered today at a car wash centre in Guwahati.

One Nirmal Biswas was found dead in Beltola's T.S. Car Wash Centre. Biswas was a handyman of the registered vehicle number AS01 GC 9331. Biswas has been suspected of dying from excessive intoxication.

The owner of the car wash centre Farooq Alin was detained by the city police for questioning related to this incident.

It has been reported that the car wash centre has always been a hub for the consumption of alcohol, ganja, and drugs.
