Guwahati Reports 203 new cases of Covid-19

As many as 203 COVID-19 positive cases tested alone in Guwahati on Friday.

Guwahati, the gateway to the northeast region, has reported 965 coronavirus cases since June 15, and 677 of them have no travel history, though many had come in contact with those returned to the state from outside.

In view of the rising cases of Covid-19 in the city, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday announced that the government will impose lockdown in Guwahati for 14 days either from Sunday midnight or from early morning of Monday.
