GUWAHATI | 1 killed in City Shooting

The man, who was shot at by miscreants in Guwahati this evening breathed his last at the GNRC Hospital, Six Mile at around 7:30 pm.

The deceased has been identified as Shyam Sundar Ratawa.

Ratawa, who was working as a salesman at Shri Jagdamba Iron & Steels, was shot at by a group of unidentified miscreants in Kumarpara area in the city. The victim was rushed to the Marwari Hospitals in Athgaon following the shooting from where he was referred to GNRC Hospital, Six Mile.

According to a senior police officer, a group of miscreants opened fire at the store around 5:30 pm and fled the spot.
