Guwahati: Suicide note of AGP President found

Amid the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill(CAB) across the state, a shocking incident has taken place in front of theAsom Gana Parishad's office in Ambari, Guwahati.

Reportedly, a suicide note of the President of Asom Gana Parishad Atul Bora has found in front of the party office on Tuesday night where it was composed as "Due to the Ministry and the Chair in Assembly, I have surrendered in front of the BJP government and I do support CAB. My birthplace is not important for me than my Ministry. As I have supported the CAB, so I fell shame to those 855 martyrs of the historic Assam Movement and today I commit suicide".

It may be stated that it was a symbolic protest against CAB by someone. Before 24 hours, a similar incident has taken place at the resident of CM's Low adviser also.
