Guwahati: Woman Dies of COVID-19, Family Sniffs Foul Play

The family members of a woman who died of COVID-19 at GMCH have approached the Police accusing the concerned hospital authority of negligence and dereliction of duties.

Things took an ugly turn when the family members saw injury marks on the forehead of the deceased at Bhootnath Crematorium. Thereafter, the family took the body back to GMCH.  

On the other hand, doctors said that the lady, who was admitted on August 10, was having a very critical condition.

Clarifying their position, they said that the patient was given oxygen in a special way, and that the injury was a result of that.
