Search operation for victims in the tragic accident which claimed lives of 5 and injured more than 20, which go on even today.

Nalbari DC along with other officials are present at the place of the accident. SDRF team has also reached the spot.

The accident occured at Adabari in Hajo-Mukalmua road after a bus fell into a ditch.

According to reports, an ASTC Bus, with the registration number- AS 20/1422, lost control and fell into the ditch.

The deceased have been identified as – Traloikya Haloi (Pipalibari), Nizara Das (Kulhati), Silbanu Begum (Lachima) and her granddaughter Pompi Begum. However, one of the dead is yet to be identified.
