Harish Rawat to visit Assam

General Secretary of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Harish Rawat has scheduled to make a five-day visit to Assam on August 26.

He will take part in party's executive bodies meetings in Dibrugarh and Guwahati Loksabha constituencies.

As per reports, Rawat will preside over meetings at Rani on August 26, at Hajo on August 27, at Margherita on August 28 and at Lahowal on August 29. Rawat will also visit two tea gardens in Dibrugarh and Tinsukia and interact with the tea-garden workers.

A particular meeting will also be held in Guwahati on August 30 with all candidates of Congress party who contested Lok Sabha election from Assam in 2014.
