Hima wins 6th gold

Continuing her golden run, Assam sprinter Hima Das bagged another gold medal on Saturday. This was her sixth gold in a row. Hima won the gold in Women's 300m at the Athleticky Mitink Reiter 2019 in Czech Republic.

It may be mentioned here that Hima's fifth gold came on July 20 in the Czech Republic with an amazing last-minute pick up in pace, where she clocked a season-best time of 52.09 seconds. She won her fourth gold in 200m at the Tabor Athletics Meet on July 17.

Beforethat on July 13, she won her third 200m gold at the Kladno Athletics Meet inthe Czech Republic with a time of 23.43 seconds. On July 7, she won her second200m gold at the Kutno Athletics Meet in Poland with a time of 23.43 seconds.And in her first competitive 200m race of the year on July 2, Hima clocked23.65 seconds to win gold at the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix in Poland.
