FormerAssam CM Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday said that Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarmahad betrayed him. "Himanta was my right hand," said Gogoi, adding, "But hebetrayed me. However, he cannot betray Sonowal. Sonowal is much cleverer thanme."

Addressingthe media in Guwahati, Gogoi attacked his former colleague and present AssamMinister Himanta Biswa Sarma over NRC. Gogoi said that there was a cold wargoing on between CM Sonowal and Minister Sarma and Assam people are sufferingthe consequence.

Gogoi further he would write CJI Ranjan Gogoi citing anomalies in the NRC. He further said that Sonowal government has failed to apply the administration that resulted in anomalies in the NRC.
