HS Result: Three students bring pride to Silchar

Although students of Silchar couldn't secure positions in the Arts and Science stream in the HS examinations, three students from two different colleges have been able to feature themselves among the top ten positions in the Commerce stream. Binita Saha, Aditya Dutta,and Sumita Roy are the students, who have brought laurels not just to their individual families, but also to the place they belong.


While Saha and Dutta are the students of RamanujGupta Junior College, Roy achieved this feat from Vivekananda Junior College, Silchar. Saha, by scoring a total of 466 marks, has secured the 3rd position, and Dutta, with the help of his 452 marks has attained the 9th position in the state. Both the students have got letter marks in all subjects, besides both wanting to choose CA as a profession in the future. Saha is also an artist.


Sumita, on the other hand, secured 453 marks and attained the 8th position in the state. Daughter of the owner of a Kirana store based in Tarapur, the bright student wants to be a successful businesswoman in the ensuing days and generate employment opportunities for others.
