The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) Saturday informed that the results of the recently concluded HSLC examination will be announced on or before May 20. Addressing the media in AHSEC office in Bamunimaidan, Guwahati, officials of AHSEC said that the council has successfully conducted this year's examination without any hassle.

Notably the AHSEC has the reputation of repeated instances of question paper leaks over the years. The AHSEC officials praised the efforts of the teachers, students and the parents for the successful conclusion of the examinations.

Interestingly, the AHSEC has announced award amounting Rs. 50,000 for the examination centre that has conducted the examination process without any unwanted situation.
