The Assam Rifles Kohima Battalion conducted an operation near Kohima Science college, Jotsoma on June 03 and recovered two rifles, three guns, two pistols, one pen pistol, three magazines, 146 live rounds and a passive night vision binocular.

Cash amounting to Rs 10,87,057 was also recovered along with extortion papers.

The operation was carried out by Assam Rifles in association with the local police.

No arrest have been made so far in this regard.
