An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) has been recovered at Lekhapani in Tinsukia. The explosive device was found in the bridge near the Lekhapani Army Camp.

The discovery of the explosive has meanwhile led to the blockade of the NH 315 that connects Makum and Lekhapani by the Army and Police.
