International Organisation praises Nagaland’s COVID-oriented education

In a shot in the arm for the Nagaland government, the state's initiative of 'Tele/Online education programme' designed specifically to help students amid the COVID-19 crisis has been underlined and recognized by the Organisation for Economic Development and Cooperation Education.

As per sources, the international organization, in its report, said that Nagaland was quick to react to the closure of schools by coming up with lessons to be broadcasted on television, radio and internet with the help of inputs from local teachers and educators.

The fact that the initiative encouraged community participation, besides being cost-effective and very relevant was also highlighted.
