JEE Exam scam accused Kakoli Buzarbaruah was remanded to 7 day judicial custody on Thursday.

She was produced at the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court after 5 days in police custody. As per sources, she arrived with her 9 month old baby.

Buzarbaruah, who is the councilor of Global Edu Light coaching institute, was arrested on October 30 from Guwahati's Rupnagar in connection with the case.

On Monday, the mastermind of the scam Bhargav deka, owner of the coaching institute, was sent to 7 day police custody.
