Jorabat: 2 killed in landslide

In a tragic turn of events, two persons were killed in a landslide at 12 miles in Jorabat on Sunday morning.

Heavy rains have triggered the landslide, where large chunks of rocks and soil fell that broke the walls of a house and the two deceased were trapped and died immediately.

The deceased have been identified as 19-year-old Bilash Pradhan and 20-year-old Mohan Ghimire. They were sleeping when the devastating incident took place. Meanwhile, another youth trapped has been found alive. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) rescued the trapped man and the two deceased.
