In an unfortunate incident on Monday, a leopard was killed after being hit by a speeding train in Titabor of Jorhat district.

As per reports, the leopard's carcass was discovered by locals on the rail tracks near Melamati area of the town.

Locals said the leopard had been terrorizing the area since a long time.
