Juli dies after brave cancer battle

Juli Rani Kalita, who was battling cancer, breathed her last in Bengaluru on Sunday. She was diagnosed with cancer in the year 2014 and treated for a long two years. However, she was readmitted again at GMCH from the last few months.

Juli's mortal remains arrived at her home in Dharapur on Tuesday morning.

Doctor advised her parentsto shift her to Bangalore for further treatment that costs around 14 to 15lakhs. Her parents have sold all the valuable assets on her treatment since2014 and had no money to treat her.

Therefore, various help campaigns had been initiated by several organisations to save her.   

She graduated fromD.K.College and eventually joined a job but couldn't continue further due toher poor health condition.
