Junu Sarmah murder: Police still clueless

The police has not yet been able to find out details about the murder of the  SBI employee Junu Sharma even after 36 hours of the incident.

The Rangia Subdivision Police Officials are searching the  vehicle for clues. The Manager of SBI Dadara Branch Ashapurna Sinha is also being interrogated by the police.

However she  refrained from commenting and said that there are strict instructions from higher officials.

On Wednesday a meeting was held at Dadara Police station by the higher officials of Assam Police regarding the incident.

Additional director general of police(ADGP) Mukheh Agarwal, Kamrup Police Superitendent Partha Sarathi Mahanta and ADSP Sanjeev Saikia were present at the meeting.

Junu Sarmah was shot dead in Agyathuri near Guwahati on Oct 9th. According to reports, two persons on a bike shot the woman, who was in her car

Reportedly, the miscreants fled the scene after committing the crime.

Police however has detained Sharma's driver, identified as Pranab Kalita. Police also suspect the involvement of the driver in the incident.
