Kamrup (M) DC Flags Off ‘Run For Unity’ Programme

The Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup (Metro) Biswajit Pegu flagged off the 'Run for Unity' programme organized under the aegis of Kamrup Metro district administration.

The Run for Unity programme has been started from Dighalipukhuri to Nehru Park. The programme has been organized as a part of the Independence Day celebration which will be celebrated as a three-day programme.

The state is celebrating the 73rd Independence Day with a three-day programme starting with cleanliness drive on the first day, Run for Unity and plantation drive on the second and third day which will be followed by the main programme to be observed on August 15.

Along with Kamrup (M), the other districts also organised the 'Run for Unity' programme as a mark of Independence Day celebration.
