Kamrup (M) Dist Admin Instructs to Close Beltola Market

The Kamrup Metropolitan District Administration has ordered to shut down the Beltola daily and bi-weekly Market in order to prevent any further spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

The administration has taken the decision after witnessing that the locals are violating the COVID-19 protocols. It has been found that people are not wearing masks and even the social distancing norms have also been violated.

As per an order of the district administration, any violation of the order will attract penal action under relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2020.
