Kaziranga National Park To Open from Oct 12

The Kaziranga National Park will be open for visitors from October 12. The park which was closed for some renovation work will be open from Saturday.

Kazirangaauthorities informed that the Jeep Safari in Kohora and Bagori will also beopen for tourists but the elephant safari will be closed till further notice.

The authorities also informed that the tourists will be able to visit till a restricted area as the pathways are not in good condition due to the bad weather.

DFO of the park, Rohini Ballav Saikia said that they will open the park for tourists as many tourists come to visit the park in this season. Although some pathways are still under construction so the authorities will allow the tourists to visit until a restricted area.
