Kaziranga to remain closed for tourists from May 16

TheWorld Heritage Site Kaziranga National Park (KNP) will be closed for the worldtourists from May 16, 2019. Divisional Forest Officer of Eastern Assam RBSaikia has formed about the decision of closing KNP.

Generally, every year with the arrival of the summer season, KNP is closed for world tourists. The National Park is likely to remain closed for the tourists till the end of October.

To visit the Kaziranga National Park, November to April is the best time. A large number of tourists, both domestic and foreign, visit the national park every year.
