KMSS to protest in Barpeta against CAB

With the fight against the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) gaining momentum, Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) has organised a protest gathering in Barpeta on Monday.

Imminent social activist and Ramon Magsaysay awardee Sandeep Pandey will also be present at the gathering.

A 20 membered delegation of the National Alliance of People's Movements (NAPM) will participate at the KMSS organised gathering.

Earlier, Krishak Mukti Sangram Samity (KMSS) along with 70 organisations launched a Sankalpa Sikha Jatra, after which a  Gana Satyagrah was also launched against the Bill from Saturday across various the districts of Assam.

The 70 organisations will stage protest under Gana Satyagrah from 17 to 27 November.
