The COVID-19 cases in Kokrajhar have increased at an alarming rate and 408 people have been infected with the virus till date. Three areas in the district have been declared Containment Zone after more cases have been detected in the areas.

The Santinagar, Rabindranagar and Gauranagar have been declared containment zones.

However, 338 patients have recovered from the disease in the district.
