Kokrajhar: Two Minor Girls Found Hanging From Tree, Rape Suspected

Two minor girls were found hanging from a tree in Kokrajhar's Abhaykuthi village, causing panic among locals in the area.

The two girls were reportedly sisters who went missing from home when their family members had gone to the paddy field for harvesting.

When the two girls were not found in the house, the family members as well as locals started searching for the duo.

As per reports, the two girls were found hanging from a branch of a tree late Friday by locals around a kilometre away from the village.

Meanwhile, their kin claimed they were raped and murdered.

Police reached the scene soon after and commenced investigation on the matter.
