Leopard attacks one in Dibrugarh

Residentsof Panchali in Assam's Dibrugarh district are living under a shadow of fearafter a leopard lurking in the area attacked a man on Thursday morning.

Asper reports, after the attack, the locals in the area immediately rushed the man,who sustained serious injuries, to a hospital and also intimated the forest departmentofficials who rushed to the spot.

Meanwhile,the forest officials have asked the locals to stay away from the wild cat. Forestdepartment officials reached the area along with a cage to trap the leopard.
