In a shocking incident, two miscreants attempted kidnappingtwo college students in broad daylight on Friday, however, locals caught thetwo boys red-handed in the act and handed them over to the police.

The incident had been reported from North Guwahati'sBhetamukh.

According to reports, the girls have accused two of their acquaintances of being involved in the incident.

It may be noted that yesterday, a similar incident had taken place at the same spot where two youths tried kidnapping two girls in a red car.
