In a sensational incident a son allegedly stabbed his father to death at South Madarbari in Baksa district on Wednesday.

The incident took place after a heated argument between Rajib Boro and his father Bhakra Boro at their residence in South Madarbari.

"There was a puncture wound on the father's abdomen due to stabbing with a sharp pointy object. We have recovered a bloody knife from the house," said the police officials  when asked about prima facie evidences.

The neighbors rushed to  the spot when they heard Bhakat's scream and found him lying on the floor.

Rajiv Boro have been arrested by the police  after the incident.

Locals of the area are in shock and outrage following the incident.
