A man was murdered on Wednesday in Singmari village of Sualkuchi under Kamrup district.

52-year-old Kobin Barman was attacked by the accused Naren Barman.

The accused Naren Barman was pelting stones at Kobin Barman's house for a long time. While pelting stones at Kobin Barman's house today, Naren Barman attacked and stabbed Kobin Barman with a dagger when the deceased came to confront the accused.

Meanwhile, the police have started an investigation and are on the hunt for the accused.
