As incessant rainfall plague states of northeast India, a picture of Manipur Flood Control Secretary Deleep Singh and Water Resources Minister Letpao Haokip has gone viral on social media.

The image shows Singh and Haokip wading waist-deep through floodwater, carrying out flood relief operations for local residents.

Manipur CM N Biren Singh along with other ministers and officials were also present at the site.

The picture, first posted by the CM, has been making rounds in social media garnering praise for Singh and Haokip.
