Manisha Koirala in Guwahati; takes part in Cancer awareness

Famous Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala landed in Guwahati on Sunday to take part in an awareness rally. Koirala, who herself is a cancer survivor, inaugurated the awareness campaign, titled 'The Walk Against Tobacco & Cancer'.

The walk began from Judge's Field and ended at Cotton University premises. Speaking to media, the actress said, "We need a tobacco-free society. Our fight against cancer will continue." She also praised the beautiful environment of the City.

Other than Manisha Koirala, famous Assamese actress Zerifa Wahid and Deepak Kumar, Guwahati Police Commissioner were also present at the event, which was organised by Deepsikha Foundation.

Koirala will also attend a special session at the Brahmaputra Literary Festival.
