A massive fire erupted in Fakirgram area of Kokrajhar on Sunday, burning shops and buildings in the vicinity.

The incident happened in the wee hours on Sunday at around 4 am.

According to sources, around 40 shops were burned to ashes. Approximately 1 crore worth of goods were destroyed in the fire.
