Meghalaya: 2 More Test Positive of COVID-19

Two more tested positive of COVID-19 in Meghalaya. These patients are also related to the first COVID-19 patient who died on Wednesday.

The first patient was the owner of the Bethany Hospital in Shillong. He was tested positive on Tuesday and breathed his last the next morning. However, all his family members and staff, doctors were quarantined who came in contact with him.

Sixothers were also tested positive earlier who were also linked with the doctor.

Thetotal number of COVID-19 positive stood at 9 in the state.

Meanwhile,51 people are tested positive in the Northeast with the highest number fromAssam.
