Meghalaya Registers 8 New Cases of COVID-19

Meghalaya registered eight new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, taking the state's tally to 354. The new cases include three BSF personnel from East Khasi Hills, one Army personnel from the Ri Bhoi district, and four civilians.

Now the number of active cases has gone up from 297 to 305 with the detection of eight new cases.

On Wednesday, 28 fresh positive cases were reported, after the two-day total lockdown was lifted in Shillong Agglomeration.

In total, 354 positive cases have been recorded while 47 persons have recovered from the disease and two persons succumbed to the disease.
