Several Mishing organisations including Ganashakti and TMPK have decided to support BJP in the coming Lok Sabha elections. The organisations have informed their decision to Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during a meeting at his MLA residence in Guwahati on Friday.

"They extended their support to PM Narendra Modi's Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikash policy," said Minister Sarma after the meeting.

He further informed that they have discussed the various social-economic and political issues relating the Mishing community.
