The body of an eight year old girl was found dead in the forests of Diphu's Nagaon Basti.

The minor girl went missing on 11th October.

The girl had injury marks on her neck and back and she is suspected of being tortured and raped prior to her murder.

The police have arrested one and the investigation is one.
