Morigaon DC office corruption : probe ordered

The Deputy Commissioner of Morigaon District, Rituraj Bora has  order probe of the corruption that was captured on Pratidin Time's camera when a Bakijai (loan recovery) employee named Mokibur Rakman was seen asking bribe for Bakijai clearance .

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Lakshminandan Saharia has been given the charge of the case.

It is to be mentioned that after the Panchayat Elections notifications by the Election Commission, the candidates of Panchayat Polls and electoral candidates of various levels requires Bakijai clearence. Mokibur Rakman was captured taking bribe from the candidates.

The Panchayat polls will be held  on December 5 and December 9 in two phrases in 26 districts and 14 civil sub-divisions. The counting will take place on December 12.

The last date for nomination for the first phrase is 15th November whereas the nomination date for the second phrase is 19th November.
